The objective of the Maharashtra Ladli Behna Scheme
The main objective behind starting this scheme is that the government has started the Ladli Behna Scheme for various types of poor and helpless women whose financial condition is bad and they cannot manage their expenses. This scheme will provide benefits to more than one crore women of the state so that their financial condition can improve and they can manage their expenses and get financial freedom.
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be a resident of Maharashtra state.
- In this scheme those women who are married, divorced, widows and absent women are eligible.
- The minimum age of the women applying in this scheme should be between 21 years and maximum age should be 65 years, only then the application will be considered.
- The bank account of all women should be linked to the Aadhar card and the same number should be there in the Aadhar card.
- The annual income of the Sadhvi family should not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh.
- there should not be any income tax payer in the house nor should any member of the family be in a government job.

Ineligibility
- If any person exceeds the annual income of Rs 2.5 lakh as prescribed by the government, he will be considered ineligible for this scheme.
